Use reflection to load and process a class function server side. Stack parameters as needed using the <parameter> element. This uses asp.net system types for the type attribute. The power search module provides a means of filtering events so that a tailored list can be generated to the user.  Note the URLs generated by the power search module can be used directly once the search module is configured. ie. you can hide the search module and use the URLs it generates to give a list by location, category, supercategory etc directly from a hyperlink or a menu item. The power search module requires a supercategory module to be configured as it uses the supercategory list as a pre-filter for the category list. There are 5 search fields in the power search module as follows: Training/Subject  Area - List from the linked supercategory module Category - when area changes, filters the categories contained in the supercategory Locations - Filter by location Current calendar month Forward...

The Supercategory Modules provide a means of generating customised listing of event categories and links into your events page. Configure the supercategory module. (In page edit mode) Add the module to a page.  Goto the module settings and select the main Actravia module you want to link to and update. (more on settings later) Select "Manage Categories" from the module menu Click "Add New" to create a new supercategory In the following screen, add the details for the supercategory link, explained below. Actravia comes pre-configured to use the Paypal payment gateway. However there are countless providers out there in every country and we don't have the resources to build interfaces to  them all! However we have provided a facility whereby a developer can build an interface to their required gateway and integrate it directly into Actravia and the registration workflow. This article will guide you through the process of doing this.

Note: Most payment gateway providers offer a variety of integration approaches. Some involve a redirect to another site, others have a direct API and still others require the gateway options to be embedded in an iFrame. We have created redirects and direct API gateways. However iFrame should also be possible with our API and we'd be happy to assist anybody any developers who wish to do this. (Note: By the time you read this we may have already done this. Contact support for further information).

With Actravia we have always tried to provide ways of further developing and extending the functionality so that developers can build their own custom applications on the platform. With version 3.8 we have introduced more ways for developers to customize the entire process. This article describes some of the data binding techniques that are now possible with Actravia.

Actravia provides advanced integration capabilities with the Dotnetnuke search indexer. Presentation of the Dotnetnuke search results is completely configurable. Direct links to bookable events can be produced.

This functionality is available independent of the advanced search and super category extensions available for Actravia.

Search Results Search results are configured on a per module basis. This means that if you have multiple instances of Actravia on your website, the search results can be customized for a module.

The search results are generated per event type and included all scheduled instances for an individual event type. Here is an example of search results from the demonstration site:
